Illustrated Map - Sneinton Market

I worked with the Creative Quarter, Nottingham and the creative residents of Sneinton Market to produce this illustrated map of “The Avenues” - a new and vibrant creative hub based in Nottingham.

The Avenues did not have branding as such and with a vast diversity of creatives based there it was agreed that a simple monochrome blue and white palette would be suitable.

It was important that the map appealed to the bohemiam customer base that the market attracts so hand lettering was created along with suitable imagery.

The map was used at A0 size around the market to inform shoppers and was also used in digital format on social media and printed and distributed in postcard format.
